General Data Protection Regulation of Lesaffre Austria AG
In fulfillment of the information duty according to the general data protection (art. 13 and 14) we herewith inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of our business relation.
General Information
The protection of your person-related data is of the utmost concern to us. The personal information will be used exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (general data protection regulation, data protection law, telecommunication law). In this general data protection regulation, we inform you as an existing or new costumer about the most important aspects regarding the data processing within the scope of our existing or future business relation.
Purpose and legal basis of the data processing
We store and process the data you have provided (company name, name, phone number, email address) to prepare service arrangements and service settlements, for contract management, customer support and marketing and publicity purposes.
The legal bases for the processing of your personal data are the fulfillment of the contract including contract initiation (art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR), the fulfillment of the legal obligations (art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR), legitimate interests (art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) as well as your consent (art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR).
Duration of data retention
We process your personal data, as far as these are necessary for the above-mentioned purposes, for the duration of the business relationship, starting with the contract initiation up to the contract termination.
In addition, the required data will be retained until expiry of the retention periods provided by the Austrian Corporate Code (UGB) and the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) (i.e. seven years).
Data security and data transfer
We use a variety of structural, infrastructural, organizational and computer security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of customer data. Any data transfer or data transmission takes place exclusively due to legal regulations.
As part of our business activities, we regularly work with external IT service providers, advertising agencies, banks and tax consultants who, if necessary, can access your personal data as part of their job. All the processors we cooperate with are contractually obliged to comply with the data protection regulations before they begin their work.
Newsletter / recipe service
All customers have the opportunity to visit our website for our e-mail newsletter for a variety of topics, such as: new products, promotions, food legal information and much more, as well as for the online recipe service. By actively clicking on the “access request” and filling out the data you agree as a subscriber to receive the newsletter or to access the recipe service. The consent can be revoked at any time (for example by e-mail to our e-mail address office.at@lesaffre.com). Your personal data provided to receive the newsletter will be deleted immediately.
Contacting with interested parties
In the case of contact by interested parties (for example through e-mail or online contact form), the details of the interested parties are stored for six months for processing and answering the inquiry as well as for any follow-up questions. We do not share this data without the consent of the respective interested parties.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm.
